The Luxury Closet uses a consignment method of selling which means that we pay you after the item has sold.
Selling your item with The Luxury Closet is very easy.

Yes, The Luxury Closet will charge AED 100 authentication fee per item. The fee needs to be paid on the return of your item.
Yes, the Luxury Closet offers a free pick up service for all customers within the GCC.
The Luxury Closet Customer Care team will send you an e-mail as soon as we receive your item.
Your item will be published on the website approximately 2 weeks after it is received by us.
We keep your item for the purpose of maintaining its condition and quick delivery.
We keep your item in-house, in our secure and temperature controlled facility.
The Luxury Closet will keep your item for 90 days. You may choose to end the agreement at any point subject to a 10-day notice period before an item can be returned.
On average, it takes 60 days to sell most items.
You are able to reduce its price at any time from your My Items section, which should help it sell faster.
If you want your item back after the 90 day consignment period, we will ship it to you and cover the cost of shipping. If you want your item back within the 90 day period, the cost of return shipping will be borne by you.
After you ask for your item back, there is a waiting period of 10 days after which we send you the item.
You will be paid 10 days after your item has sold and we have received full payment for it. For orders paid in installments, you will receive your payout once the buyer has paid the first installment.

Your payout is the amount you will be paid once your item sells.
The Luxury Closet team will provide you with a quotation range for your item. This range is arrived at after researching the estimated retail price of the item, and its resale value. We also consider the condition of the item, and how popular and 'in style' the item is. You may choose a final selling price from within this range.
65% for the first 1000 USD
70% between 1000 USD and 5000 USD
75% above 5000 USD
80% on selected items*
Please Note:We combine the commission structure depending on the sale price ie.
If sale price is $1500, you get 65% for the first $1000 ($650) and 70% for the balance $500 ($350). Your total payout would be $1000.
