This genius positioning, plus the reversibility factor, has made the LV tote one of the most coveted handbags in the luxury market. Today, it is available in different sizes and in a range of materials, proving its continued versatility and functional character.\u00a0<\/span>High on the wishlist of every woman, brand-conscious or otherwise, the bag has unfortunately spawned several counterfeits. Luckily <\/span>Louis Vuitton bags<\/span><\/a> have many intricate details, some too difficult to replicate. <\/span><\/p>\n

Here are some general pointers when sourcing your Louis Vuitton Neverfull:<\/span><\/p>\n

Should the colour be lighter, the handles have either been replaced and\/or the bag is a fake.<\/span><\/p>\n

    The \u2018L\u2019 in LOUIS VUITTON has a short tail.<\/span><\/p>\n

    The O is perfectly round and looks larger than the other alphabets.<\/span><\/p>\n

    The strokes of the TT almost touch each other.<\/span><\/p>\n

    The \u2018made in France\u2019 has a lower case \u2018m\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\n

    The heat stamp on the Ebene bag is always in red. <\/span><\/p>\n

    2. Date codes<\/b><\/h3>\n

    The date code is another giveaway that easily helps spot fake Neverfull. The date code is stamped on leather attached into the right-hand corner of the inner pocket. The two letters of the alphanumeric code depict the country of manufacture. Of the four digits, the first and third stand for the week and second and fourth digits for the year of manufacture. Eg. SD 2009 means Made in USA in the 20<\/span>th<\/span> week of 2009.The Neverfull Neo (NM version) released in 2014 comes with a pochette with a date code in the lining seam. <\/span>Neverfull women\u2019s bags<\/span> made before 2014 do not come with the <\/span>pochette bag<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

    3. Inside lining<\/b><\/h3>\n

    The fabric lining of the Neverfull has fixed colours. The Azur has tan while Ebene has red lining. Newer versions may also have yellow and fuchsia lining, depending on the year of production. Whatever the lining, <\/span>the interior base should be a solid colour i.e. without stripes or monogram<\/i><\/b>. The interior should have a seamed binding at the base.<\/span><\/p>\n

    4. Inside pocket<\/b><\/h3>\n

    The interior pocket should go all the way to the bottom of the bag. If it doesn\u2019t then, you guessed it, it\u2019s fake!<\/span><\/p>\n

    5. Handles<\/b><\/h3>\n

    The straps of the Neverfull are thin and end in a bulb where they are attached to the bag. The \u201cV\u201d stitching on the bulb is actually an \u2018LV\u201d (L when viewed at an angle of 45\u00b0 and V when viewed straight on). There are only 5 stitches on each side of the V. The red tone glazing on the edges is clean. Fake bags usually have waxy orange or bright red colour painted unevenly. D-rings (not just any circular rings) attach the handle to the bag. A relatively short ring holder attaches the D-ring to the bag.<\/span><\/p>\n

    8. Straps<\/b><\/h3>\n
