Louis Vuitton Multicolore Flower Lambskin Capucines BB Bag<\/a><\/h2>\n

The LV Capucines bag design was first seen in 2013, as part of the Fall\/Winter collection. \u00a0The bag takes it’s name from the street Rue des Capucines in Paris. \u00a0Upon which Louis Vuitton’s first store was opened\u00a0in 1854. \u00a0A classic heritage for a classic bag, the Capucines has quickly become an iconic addition to the LV brand despite it’s infancy.<\/p>\n

In terms of shape, it is structured and boxy, in keeping with vintage styles. \u00a0The smallest of the Capucines sizes, “BB” measures 10.6\u2019 x 8.3\u2019 x 3.9\u2019, meaning that sizing is slightly smaller than the classic Capucines. \u00a0However still maintains all of the versatile features. \u00a0This bag can be left open, to display the LV signature or the flap can clasp over to show the monogram flower. \u00a0The bag can also be worn cross body, over the shoulder, by hand or in the crook of the elbow.<\/p>\n

Capucines, being French for the flower Nasturtium; mostly used as decorative edible flowers in ornamental salads, links directly to the print on this particular bag. \u00a0The wildflower design\u00a0was borrowed from clothing items from the Spring\/Summer 2015 collection. \u00a0Celebrities such as Anna Wintour have been among those to adorn the oriental-esque print, and if it’s on Anna, it’s en Vogue.<\/p>\n

Despite the print being from an S\/S collection, the\u00a0black base colour and classic shape make it a great year-round investment. \u00a0Winter floral’s are seen to come back every year and this is no exception.<\/p>\n
