Last Tuesday saw our first event, ‘The Million Dollar Closet’. On arrival, bloggers, editors and fashion influencers were greetedwith a glass of bubbly, a selection of mouth-watering canapes and the most gorgeous Marches gown you ever did see – the epitome of The Luxury Closet in one room.<\/p>\n

“Pieces from sought-after designers including Hermes, Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Herve Leger, Valentino, Zuhair Murad and Chopard made up the high value wardrobe, which was shown off in a suite at Kempinski Mall of the Emirates,” reports our guests from 7 Days.<\/p>\n
The hotel room,\u00a0arranged to resemble the room of a wealthy heiress, was laden with our most exclusive and collectable pieces. Security guards stationed themselves at a Dior handbag – of which we happen to carry the only available style across the UAE -, vintage Hermes’ and the most exotic skinned accessories you can find in the industry.<\/p>\n

And it’s not just women we cater to! Hafsa, from The National, writes,”In menswear, coveted leather satchels, belts and loafers were on show, along with an enviable collection of Rolex watches. There was even a selection of designer trainers by Dior, Alexander McQueen and Jimmy Choo retailing for just under Dh1,000.”<\/p>\n
So what about the products and where they’ve come from? Our CEO, Kunal Kapoor, says, “We have seen a huge shift in how people in the UAE have started seeing value in pre-loved luxury goods. People are realising that they don\u2019t need to constantly buy new things. \u00a0A lot of people sometimes give us their entire closet of designer clothes and bags to either swap or just change their own wardrobe.
