When you hear the name Christian Dior, you can immediately feel the ethereal luxurious ring to the brand. Christian Dior has been ruling the high seas of fashion for many decades and during this time has attracted the world\u2019s foremost royalty and cr\u00e8me de la cr\u00e8me clientele. No matter the season, Dior has always imbued those who choose to wear the silhouette with an innate sense of style. 1. Dior\u2019s Passion: Despite his love for the arts, young Christian Dior caved to pressures from his wealthy family and studied political science with the intention of becoming a diplomat. Eventually he found his way back to the creative world by opening a small art gallery that would later close down due to a family tragedy. Not giving up on his dream, Christian began selling fashion sketches for 10 cents each to make ends meet. In 1946, the doors opened at his very own boutique at the famous locale 30 Avenue Montaigne. For Dior\u2019s most recent haute couture show at Paris, creative director Raf Simons invited 63 students for an all-expense paid trip to Paris for a hands on backstage study of what goes into Dior Couture.
